Short version: Google Analytics counts visits to the pages. Nothing you do with the tool is recorded, and there are no accounts or ads.

What happens on your device

The tone is generated in your browser. Pressing Start does not send a request anywhere — whether you ran the tool, which mode, how many times, none of that is recorded. The site stores your light/dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage if you change it.

What the server sees

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser type when it serves a page and keeps standard, short-lived request logs for security and abuse prevention.

Third parties

Google Analytics 4 is the only third-party script on the site. It records page views, the country and device type of the visit, and how you arrived (search, link, direct), and it sets Google’s _ga cookies to tell repeat visits apart. IP addresses are not stored by GA4. Ads personalisation and Google Signals are switched off for this property, and the data is used only to see which pages people find useful. You can block it with any content blocker or Google’s opt-out add-on; the tool works exactly the same without it.

Nothing else. No ad networks, no fonts loaded from Google, no social buttons. The page sends a Content Security Policy that lets it talk only to this site and to Google Analytics, so that list is enforced by your browser, not just promised here.
