What the service is

Fix iPhone Speaker plays a tone through your device’s speaker to help push out trapped water. It runs entirely in your browser, needs no account, and costs nothing. It is a convenience, not a repair service, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Apple Inc., Google, Samsung or any other manufacturer. “iPhone”, “AirPods” and “Apple Watch” are trademarks of Apple Inc. and are used only to describe which devices the tool is for.

Use at your own risk

The tone plays at whatever volume your device is set to. Before pressing Start you must remove headphones, earbuds and hearing aids, and disconnect Bluetooth audio. Do not run the tool for more than a few 45-second runs in a row on a speaker that is already dry. You are responsible for how and when you use it, and for deciding whether a device that has been in water should be powered on at all. If in doubt, or if the device shows a “liquid detected” warning, follow the manufacturer’s guidance first.

No warranty

The site and the tool are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise that the tone will clear water from any particular device, that it will work in every browser, or that the site will always be available. Results depend on the device, how long the water has been there and what was in it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, this site — including damage to a device, a speaker, headphones or hearing, and any indirect or consequential loss. If you are not comfortable with that, do not use the tool. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to harm anyone, do not attempt to disrupt it, and do not scrape or copy it for redistribution. You may link to any page. The text, code and artwork on this site are ours unless stated otherwise; the sound is generated live and is not a file you can download from us.

Privacy

There are no accounts and no ads. Google Analytics counts page visits; nothing you do with the tool itself is recorded. The privacy page has the details.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date below changes when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version. Questions go to the address on the contact page.
